Hawzah News Agency- Hojatoleslam Morteza Shabanzadeh, head of the Islamic Propagation Organization in Qom province, told Hawzah News Agency that the fate of the Islamic ummah is tied to this war, and therefore all have come together in unity and solidarity.
Enemies miscalculated Iranian nation's resolve
Shabanzadeh stated that the enemies of the Iranian nation have targeted the country's independence, honor, and future, but the Iranian people, armed with insight, have recognized the enemy's sinister plot and will not allow it to materialize.
"When a foreign aggressor violates their land, the Iranian nation stands firmly against them and makes them regret it," he said. "The enemy imagined that the Iranian people had become detached from their homeland and their system. So, it fell into delusion and attacked."
He added that the enemies misjudged the Iranian nation, quoting the late Leader of the Revolution: "The true nature of the Iranian nation revealed itself during the funeral procession of General Qassem Soleimani." The Iranian people, he emphasized, have always stood by their Leader and defended their land.
International movement on the streets
Shabanzadeh reported that over 300 mobile service stations are active across Qom province, serving the people. He noted that stations from Iraq, India, and Lebanon have also joined the scene across the country and in Qom.
"What we are seeing in the streets today is an international movement, not limited to the Iranian people," he said. "Firstly, because the Leader of the Muslim ummah has been martyred, and secondly, the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been and will remain the supporter of Islamic nations. Therefore, the entire Islamic ummah has stepped onto the field."
He described the Ramadan War as a "global war against the Islamic ummah," stressing that its outcome will determine the destiny of Muslims worldwide.
Role of seminaries and clergy
Shabanzadeh highlighted that the Qom seminary has been present on the scene since day one, "The activities of seminary students and clergy are not limited to mokebs," he explained. "They play a serious role in debris removal, public awareness campaigns, and explaining current events to the people."
He emphasized that the most important role of the clergy is in the mosques. Clerics are present in over 400 mosques across Qom province, organizing popular gatherings. He noted that Qom has 44 local neighborhood assemblies, with some localities hosting up to 5,000 people.
Unprecedented unity
Shabanzadeh concluded by stating that an "unprecedented unity and maximum cohesion" has been created among all segments of the nation, with everyone actively participating.
"Assessments show that more than 200,000 people from Qom are present in the streets every night," he said.
